Html code showing when I share page

Hi, for some reason, when I share my page either on Linkedin, Facebook or anywhere, the html code, which is part of the first few text on the page…i.e. the headline – also displays as part of the link. How do I get rid of this?

While on the subject of sharing, my email sharing button from Jetpack is not working. When I try to share a page via email, it never actually delivers to the recipient.

Please help.
