and im using “The Morning After” theme
Ive also just realised the categories arent appearing on the right side either even though ive created them
Categories only appear when they have posts in them….
Empty categories are not shown..
Categories arent empty though!
There is 2 test posts ive created but categories aint showing up in the right?
ive just tried changing themes
weirdly the css dissapears if i change it to any other theme than the one im using but he categories do show up so by definition must be a problem with the theme im using
Does everything work with either of the default themes?

If it does, then yes it’s a theme related problem….
Yep everything works fine with the default themes except the CSS
The CSS on the theme im using works fine though, everything is fine except the 3 issues mentioned above.
Ive not changed anything though in the files so how could this have happened?

You can run a mini web server on your PC (noone else can see it)…
Once you’re happy with how it all works you upload the modified files to your live site…
Editting files is as quick as you can open them and save them as you would with any other file on the PC, which is drastically quicker then FTP changes.
OK categories i can leave for now.
What about the other 2 things?

Same thing is happening at the post above, but i have no plugins installed at all
Ive done an auto reinstall of WordPress 2.7.1
The HTML editor for the new posts is now working
but im still not able to see my categories and i still would like to know how to add images to my featured posts section without clicking the continue reading button
