• I am looking to customize the HTML that is allowed in comments. I know the existence of kses.php and, for reasons everyone would understand, do not want to tamper with it.

What my alternatives are? Is there a plugin (I search, and did not found) that would do this?

    Thanks!

Thanks, Tomdever. I can customize kses.php, but it get overwritten each time there is an update (quite often lately) or WordPress get upgraded. The deprecated my-hacks.php was used in the past to overwrite this. I am amazed –literally– that there are no plugins, nor a built-in way to customize this.
