   I would like the big "feature carousel" on my frontpage to show the HTML 5 player at the beginning of my excerpt, rather than showing the source code.

   Notice how the excerpt for my featured post starts off with "[audio mp3="http://waltrib......"

   I'm surprised the carousel (which is native to the theme) won't allow hyperlinks, embedded HTML 5 audio, etc. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

   Any help is greatly appreciated.
