.htaccess wp permalink rewrite rules

I had to enter these .htaccess wp rewrite rules over and over again in the .htaccess file, everytime I disable/enable a caching method. This wasn’t necessary in previous versions of w3tc. Can this be fixed or is there a reason for this?
