Htaccess Rules for Sites Behind Proxy (1 post)

    Hello Donncha,

I have a high traffic site that often gets DDoS'd so I host with provider that hides my server's IP behind a proxy. I use your plugin and was wondering what exactly you meant by this comment in the htaccess rules:

If you serve pages from behind a proxy you may want to change 'RewriteCond %{HTTPS} on' to something more sensible

Change it to something "more sensible". What exactly does it mean? What exactly should I change and what into?

    Thank you for your time,

    Mark
