.htaccess rewrites disappearing

    I have a very strange problem with my .htaccess file. I will put an entry in like this:

    RewriteRule ^feed.xml http://feeds.feedburner.com/myfeed [QSA,L]

    It works great for a day or two, then for some reason that line disappears!?

    Does anyone know what could cause this?
