   Hello,

   Is it possible through htaccess to rewrite "uncategorized" category posts to appear with no category in url?.. eliminate only that category from post base.
   ie:

   http://www.site.com/uncategorized/post/ into-> http://www.site/post.html

   I have been looking for weeks for a solution, as I want to switch over a site to WP.. but do not want to have hundreds of 301 redirects.

   Hi rawhudson, fortunately, there is a plugin for you.

   Visit http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/advanced-permalinks/ and take a loot at the Advanced post permalinks
