Support » Plugins » .htaccess, permalink mod, or way to override 404 errors – help!

  • Hi all,

I have a question regarding .htaccess/pages in WordPress.

I want to build a “store finder” on my blog, and I have added a page called /storefinder.

From that page, I will be sending the user to URLs like /storefinder/united-states/massachusettts/my-store-1

I want WordPress to ignore the fact that “united-states” does not actually exist.

Right now when I go to /storefinder, that works fine, but when I add a second directory/part to the link, I get a 404 error.

Does anyone know how to tell WordPress to ignore the fact that /storefinder/x/x/x does not actually exist?

    Thanks!

    Alex
