.htaccess issues (3 posts)

Hi, I have just installed your plugin as I was told it was the best version available and yet I am having 2 issues with it, the first is I have a red bar at the top saying
It appears Minify URL rewriting is not working. If using apache, verify that the server configuration allows .htaccess. Or if using nginx verify all configuration files are included in the main configuration fail (and that you have reloaded / restarted nginx).
I am on an apache server with one.com
and have ftp to access the file but am unsure what to do to it as couldn't find anything relating to that issue.
I am unsure if it is connected but when I activate it the theme I am using vanishes and all the text is pushed left and jumbled up, the theme I am using is called simplo and have the latest version. The site returns to normal if I de-activate the plug-in so it could just be I'm being stupid and missing something.

    Thanks
    Phil

Your text being pushed to the left and jumbled up, is likely related to minify. Try disabling it and seeing if that fixed the problem, then figure out if it's css, js, or html.
