I used this plugin for my main-domain which wordpress and it works fine
But I have subdomain website which is opencart
in the opencart when i want to login on the admin panel it redirect me to the subdomain home page(the opencart homepage)

I tried to delete the .htaccess for the main-domain (wordpress) then it worked fine
and i logged into the opnecart admin area

So i don’t know how to limit the wordpress .htaccess file to dont change anything on the subdomains

    Thank You

I ever had similar issue. My main website is a WordPress site and the addon domain is a OpenCart site. I can logged into OpenCart admin panel, but it didn’t work correctly if I try to edit or add data.

The issue solved by disable “Filter Suspicious Query Strings” and “Prevent long URL strings” under the System Tweaks section.

Try to enable the plugin again but disable the 2 items above.
    Good luck.

    Hello

    unfortunately that doesn’t work

Are there any other solution to stop .htaccess file affect the subdomins and redirect ?

    Thank You

    1. First try to disable Better WordPress Security (deactivate the plugin), is the problem still exist? If the issue still happens, it means it is not caused by this plugin.

    2. Try to disable the hide backend feature (menu > Security > Hide Backend).

    3. If still no luck, you may try to disable all the features in the Better WP Security. Then one-by-one you enable the features you want to test if your OpenCart website is working.

    Good luck.
