The IP 208.109.181.70 hit my site 16,759 times in an hour today and GoDaddy suspended my hosting, because you know - that's My Fault.

Is there away to deny/block an IP which attempts to view X amount of pages a minute?
Example if 208.109.181.70 views 20 pages it's blocked for a day.

    Thanks

They were likely hammering your site with login attempts...

    Try this plugin:

Also, when site is up, make sure to scan it - they may have been successful.

Thanks, I know about the Brute Force Attack. I'm sure that's what's happening.
I am already using Limit Login Attempts. It is blocking the attempts.
The site has been scanned, it has not been hacked.

It's been hit 16,759 times by the IP 208.109.181.70 - which I have blocked and GoDaddy is reinstating my account, but it will happen again with a different IP and around in circles we go.

So how to I stop an IP from making thousands of requests an hour?
How do I block an IP after, let's say 20 page views?

    Thanks.

    Ask GoDaddy it's their server...
