.htaccess chmod and Sourceforge shell issues

    I am hosting a 2.0 on SF project shell space and while this is not related directly to WP I have been unable to get WP to recognise chmod on ANY files.

    I have manually set them via SFTP and also via shell/telnet but still get the ‘If this file was writable…’ message via the WP admin interface. Just wonder if anyone else is using WP on SF and if so have others come accross this problem?

    P.S Also noticed the feeds from WP don’t work on a SF install I think SF are running very restriced project shell servers but cannot confirm.

    Thread is now sorted it was my fault and an obvious candidate of RTFM

    SF now quite restrict waht you can do on the shell servers
