[resolved] .htaccess being overwritten all the time?!!! (3 posts)

Ok, if I add a custom Rewrite Rule to my .htaccess file, this is in effect until I edit/write a new blog post or a page or post pretty much anything on the site... at which time wordpress apparently overwrites the .htaccess file and erases my custom Rewrite Rules!

How do I stop it from doing that?

Put your own rewrite rules outside of the #BEGIN and #END lines. Only things inside those lines will be modified by WordPress.
