htaccess
-
I have installed WP in a directory called ‘blogs’ but I want to show it in the root directory. I know I can do this in a Reading settings, but I want the Front page to show a static page, and I want an internal page to show Latest Posts. I’ve tried various plugins to show ‘Latest Posts’ but nothing is as good as the WP default. So I figure htaccess is the best way to achieve this… but don’t know how.
If I keep the Reading setting to ‘Your recent posts’, this is what I’m hoping to achieve:
http://www.example.com/blogs/front-page/
->
http://www.example.com/http://www.example.com/blogs/%5Ball%5D
->
http://www.example.com/%5Ball%5D(except)
http://www.example.com/blogs/
=
http://www.example.com/blogs/Any tips on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
