How/where to change the navigation? (17 posts)

This site was created from Twenty Eleven theme. I'm trying to add pages to the navigation but can't seem to.

I tried also to set the pages up via the Menu, but no luck there. Nothing seems to take.

Where could the controls for which pages are viewed on the navigation be?

    URL: http://durstusrho1000.com/

    TIA

Yes, i went it and set it up that way (which is what I normally do) but it would not reflect the changes that i made in appearance>menus....

no, i didn't change anything in the header.php, but i wasn't the original creator of the site.

I went into the header.php to make sure and yes, what i pasted was all of the coding in there.

Does not look like it as twenty eleven theme use access for menu and your theme use nav

If this was a child theme then header.php file should have all codes for your header and menus in header.php file.

Check with who ever set this wordpress for you.

You could switch to twenty eleven theme see if that works.

I found it! They created individual page templates and placed the navigational coding in each page template... i hadn't seen it done that way before...

anyways, guess the mystery is solved... thanks for your time though!!

    really appreciate it :)

That wrong way to do it on wordpress theme as when ever add any page you will have go in each template and add manually I assume that is hard coded.
