I'm looking to make something like a news site portion of content for the website that I work on. I want to do something with multiple, individual blogs that can be displayed on individual pages. I also need it to work so that I don't have to create a new post type and set of templates for each blog. How do I do this?

The Blog In Blog plugin might do what you want, or at least a part of it.
