   Hi,
   I am trying to rewrite url and I am novice to this,As I am using IIS for webhosting, kindly help me to find files, functions and logic behind rewriting the url. In short I want to know the logic behind of "Permalinks".

   If I want to rewite the url without using Permalinks then guide me implement the same.

   kindly help me as soon as possible as it is my urgent need.

   It all depends on what "I am using IIS for webhosting" means. If you are admin'ing it yourself, some options are available:

   If you're just a customer on the server, you'll have to see if you can convince your provider to install a solution for you.
