• Hello,

Our company runs a wp network with a few hundreds of websites. For now for each website we have configured Awstats. We plan to move to piwik and wp-piwik in the following months.

We have installed piwik, wp-piwik and our network on a test server. (1) Do wp-piwik automatically add a piwik website and enables tracking on the first time this website is visited ?

Unfortunately there is no piwik user code for each site, so our customers won’t be able to connect to piwik, (2) will customers only access their stats using the wp dashboard ?

    (3) Is it worth creating a user account on piwik for each website or are the charts in the dashboard enough to make a “complete” web stats ?

    (4) Is there any script example for doing that or do you have any advice for implementing such a script or is there any documentation on the wp-piwik API ?

Thank you for your help and for this great plugin 🙂

    (3) WP-Piwik just shows a brief overview of some stats, not a complete webstats.
    (4) WP-Piwik doesn’t offer an API on itself. But Piwik offers an API function to add a new user, so it is possible to add such a feature to WP-Piwik. But currently I can’t promise when this will be implemented. First I have to fix some issues, e.g., regarding the PHP API.
