How to use thumbnail sized images for index only?

    How do I use the automatically resized version of my images on my index.php only?

    I am running an image website with high definition images, so all images are sized to 730px width before uploading.

    This is great, because it is what I need… but on my home page I want the smaller versions of these thumbnails that wordpress automatically creates to show.

    I don’t want to have a code resizing the images.. because it’s still loading full size.

    I need it to load the lower quality.. resized pictures.

    Any way?
