  • It is the same with any theme, not just Montezuma. Just place a text widget into your sidebar and you can paste any text or HTML code that you want into it.

Go to Appearances > Widgets. The Available Widgets will be in the center section, the Widget Area ONE sidebar will be on the right. Just drag and drop a Text widget into the spot you want.

yes sir i know, this is for left side of the theme but i want to implement this on the right side of theme , how can we give this widgets on the right side area of the theme ?? and here i need just a text widget to give the Google ads code.

Thanks a lot for reply sir.

Are you saying that you moved the sidebar to the left? Because with the Montezuma theme, the sidebar is on the right by default. Can you post a link to your web site so we can take a look?

No sir i didn’t changed any settings of the theme , i want to use the left hand space also for ads and some small image ads. can you please assist me in this .

    Thank you.

Can you post a link to your site? Are you new to WordPress or have you created a site before using WordPress?

How do you use the left hand side of the ?

@somilbhargava, if you look at the index.php, page.php, and single.php virtual Main Templates (go to Appearances > Montezuma Options > Main Templates), you’ll see how a sidebar is created on the right with a call to the dynamic_sidebar() function. You should be able to figure out how to create a sidebar on the left, just make sure your col classes add up to 12 (if you don’t understand what that means, read the documentation under Appearances > Montezuma Options > CSS Settings > Editing CSS).
