How to use searching & tagging (4 posts)

The site I'm referring to is: http://www.amazondealhunter.com

As you can see from the second post, there is a blu-ray dvd player as the title. When I search "blu-ray", it shows up as the word "blu-ray" is in the title. However I also want it to be found in the search when someone types in "dvd", even though dvd isn't in the title. I put "dvd" as a tag, yet this is not working. I tried putting it like so: dvd; lg; blu-ray; etc.... and also: dvd lg blu-ray etc... in the tags box, but none of them work.

How do I got about making someone find the Blu-ray dvd post if they search for dvd?

Thank you in advance, and any help is appreciated!

Have you thought about using something like Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin, then adding your own keywords as meta data?

Or something like this maybe? http://www.edwardstafford.com/2010/02/04/wordpress-use-custom-fields-to-add-keyword-meta-data-to-your-posts/

Thank you for your response Jonathan.

I can't seem to find the "custom fields" section on the administrative panel.

Look at the"Screen Options" on the top right when you are on the edit Post or Page screen if Custom Fields are enabled.
