    PG Branding Blog

I am trying to construct the Permalinks so that it is set to just /%postname%. (At the moment, it is /index.php/%category%/%postname%.)

However, I cannot seem to get it to work without putting /index.php/ at the start. Without it, links to categories and posts are broken…

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks a lot.

Please be sure to check the trouble-shooting tips at the Permalinks page in the docs section.

If your permalinks don’t work without index.php in them (known as “Almost Pretty” permalinks) then you may need to work with your host.

ok chris after reading through that i wonder is there just a simple way of turning almost pretty permalinks to prety permalinks…
i am sure there probably isn’t as this wouldnt be such a problem that people stumble on if there was.
    Thanks for the pointers.
