   anyone,

   how can i use an ip address instead of localhost so that i can remotely access wordpress?

   You may want to give some more info.
   All the WP installs on the web are accessed "remotely" by visitors.
   If you mean the database server in the wp-config file - that is needed only if the DB is somewhere else than the install itself. Note: most hosts do not allow remote access to their database.

   So, try to describe what exactly do you need and somebody will help you.

   I went through some functions and got the solution to my query. thanks for your prompt reply.

   on the other hand, i have another concern. how can i upload a logo so i can use it? What file am i going to edit so that the logo (image) i uploaded will be beside my header text?
