How to use Guest booking

    Another question i have is with Guest booking.

    Member booking is when a user already is a subscriber with the blog.

    Guest is a person who is not yet a member but is signing up for the event and is suppose to get a registration email to join as a member upon signing up for the event?

    How do i go about using a guest booking?

    I would like to use this plugin for my wedding RSVP portal on the blog.

    thus would like to get my guest to register and manage their own bookings.

    EM will create wp user account for the guest who signs-up or book for an event and then email this user account details such as username and password.

    I’m afraid when guest sign up for the event and clicks on submit. it loads for a second and shows the form again,

    On the other hand when a registered user signs up, it shows a prompt saying it has been submitted and awaiting confirmation.

    I turned on non-guest sign up, it shows awaiting confirmation.

    I’m not sure what the issues is here, i’ll try to turn off my other plugins first and update this thread.

    Hi Angelo,

    Thanks for your reply. I tried checking the plug-in and found the recaptcha plugin was causing the problem. I set captcha for new signs up, thus new sign ups are not allowed to process because captcha is not keyed in thus causing the error.

    Solution,

    I de-activated captcha for the sign up portion.

    thanks for the update; also, EMpro already uses captcha – http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/custom-booking-forms/

    Hi Angelo,

    Thank you for the update. Yes, I will be using this for my wedding RSVP and will be a one time off thing. Will keep that in mind if i do get any request to use the plug-in on a professional level.

    Also, Thank you for the awesome plugin. made my planning much easier, initially though of doing the registration system from scratch. you guys are life savers.
