    Hi Tobias,

By looking on the DataTables website, I've seen an interesting feature, FixedColums, to fix the left most column while enabling x-scrolling.
Here is the webpage : http://www.datatables.net/extras/fixedcolumns/

I would like to know how I could add this functionality to a table ?

    Thanks !

    Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas,

you are lucky. This is available as a TablePress Extension. I just didn't have the time yet to write the corresponding details page on the TablePress website.

I did that just now, so that you can find all details at http://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-fixedcolumns/

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks very much !

Unfortunately, there is a bug that creates a shift so that a part of the table is behind the first column :

I tested with other themes and it seems the problem remains. Any idea ?

    thanks,

    Nicolas

    Hi,

sorry about that. This is probably related to the problem with the width of the cells in the head row. I suggest that you also ask about this in teh DataTables forums (as mentioned in the other forums thread here), as I don't know what might be causing this :-(
I just made it possible to use the scripts with TablePress, but I'm not an expert in their code so that I could debug this issue. Sorry.

    Regards,
    Tobias
