    If someone could please outline the process of how to setup a RSS feed for a new wordpress.org blog, I'd appreciate it very much.

    (i.e. I am using bloglines ... and when I try to add my new blog as a test I get a message saying that the RSS does not exist)

    Thanks

    By default it is already set up.
    Do you have a link to your site?

    Okay, here's where we're at now.

    ================================

    When I use the default URL showing for the 'Entries RSS' in Bloglines it is now producing a RSS Feed ... which is a step in a positive direction!

    However:

    i) When I click on the 'Preview this Feed' link ... the text which is generated in this RSS Feed is jumbled, truncated and contains a swack of extraneous characters, etc., which do not belong there ...

    e.g. On the date of his22nd birthday, King Usain [Lightning] Bolt establishes a new World Record in the one event which previously had been thought to be ‘untouchable’ for a long, long time … the 200 m mark of Legendary American Sprinter, Michael Johnson [i.e. 19.32 … from the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996] …

    by, at last, running through the Finish Line … and,

    Question #1 - What's the reason for this?
    Question #2 - What do I do to fix it?

    ii) When I click on the URL for RSS Feed itself ... it generates the following error message:

    Internet Explorer cannot display this feed

    This feed contains code errors.
    Go back to the previous page.

    More information

    An invalid character was found in text content.
    Line: 31 Character: 19

    On the date of his

    Question #3 - To what does this error message pertain?
    Question #4 - What do I do to fix it?

    ===============================

    Sincere thanks to anyone who can help me out with this. :-)

    NOTE: My new blog is private right now and I'd prefer not to post a link to it in a public forum like this. If someone can help me out, but absolutely needs to view my new blog first, simply forward me a working email and I will send you the URL directly.

    If you look at the front page, the characters that you pasted above can be seen right on your front page. You imported your posts from your wordpress.com blog I presume, and thats how they got there. Its a common problem.

    You can either edit the posts, removing the characters, or go through some of the other other fixes.
