How to upload images when given HTTP ERROR (2 posts)

    Hi

I'm trying to use wordpress without any plugins to upload images to my posts. I click on the insert image and it prompts me to choose a file from my computer. I do this and it says 'crunching' and then just says 'HTTP error' with no other information. I've done a few searches and tried changing the security thing in my access folder and that didn't work, I've checked that the permissions are fine and I'm fast running out of ideas.

Can anyone help me to sort this problem?

The joys of upgrading WordPress, eh?

I found the answer at the end of this post:

"Finally, if you simply want to give up entirely on the flash uploader for now, use this plugin to disable it: No-Flash-Uploader"

    Worked for me.
