how do i upload themes? here are the instructions-i have them on my computer, but do not know how to access wp content > themes.
Once you have downloaded and unzipped one of the many WordPress themes to your computer, upload the new folder (with the files left inside) to the themes directory of your blog, which is located within the wp content directory.
i do not know how to access wp content directory.

You upload it with FTP. You should have connection information from your host and I'm sure if you search for FTP instructions on Google you will find plenty.

If you have the eXtend control panel with your hosting account, you can use file manager to navigate to the themes directory and upload the zip file.
You can then right click and unzip into the themes directory.
