how to upload a new theme

    I am very new at this. I have a theme that I would like to use as my template for my blog. I already uploaded the file to my server, but don’t know how to get to wordpress. I would appreciate any help I can get.

    The WP themes are located in the themes folder. You can get to it by following this path in your own web folders

    [WP root folder]/wp-content/themes/

    Inside the themes folder you will see at least two existing folders for the default themes that come with wordpress. Upload your theme into it’s own folder here, then set your blog to read the new them under the Design tab in the WordPress administration.
