How to update from WordPress dashboard?

    Hi,

    I’m still running 1.9.42: I was never notified within my WP dashboard of any updates. Surely it’s me missing something.

    Since I still donÈt have the option to update from my WP dashboard, how can I install or update to the newest version without losing my settings?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Simple answer: delete old version from the plugin list, install new version. Settings are kept.

    Still don’t understand why there wasn’t any update notification though.
