   I've tried to uninstall Subscribe to Comments Reloaded plugin by first deactivating and then choosing "delete" from the installed plugins page of my WordPress site dashboard.

   But even after the plugin has stopped showing in the "installed plugins" page, the plugin comment checkbox etc. continue to show on post pages and the plugin is still fully functioning. I want to uninstall this plugin permanently.

   I'm using WordPress version 3.2.1 and "The Morning After" theme.

   Can someone please tell me how I can remove all traces of this plugin?

   Are you also running the jetpack plugin? It includes the same functionality

   That was a blazing fast reply! Yes, I'd installed JetPack today but hadn't familiarized myself with its functionality. I just checked by deactivating JetPack and the problem is gone. Thank you!

   Sure! I think you can turn off just that feature in jetpack.... but I"m not 100%

   I just did. I turned off the subscriptions option in JetPack.
