   I would like to try out disqus though I do not want to take any chances with my current WP install. How can I make an exact copy of my current install and do something different to the copy, in this case add disqus, test it, without it affecting what I currently have?

   I would simply download all of the files and database and make a test site at a different url on on my local machine.
