    Hello.

My domain was recently hacked. I am currently trying to get it back. But in the event that I can't, I was wondering I would be able to get my site moved to a new domain by exporting the MySQL database or something?

If so, is there a tutorial that you guy's would suggest?

    Thanks!

Thank you! I know the database has not been hacked. I believe someone hacked into my account for my domain registrar, and transferred my domain to another account. Here is my email to them.

    Hello.

I have been using dot.tk for a long time.

This morning, I got a bunch of emails from Pingdom saying my site (http://pgrytdal.tk/) was down. When I went to investigate, I saw that my domain was down. When I went to another domain of mine, (http://prgl.tk/) which is on the same host account as http://pgrytdal.tk/ , it worked perfectly.

I went to http://pgrytdal.tk/ to investigate, it redirected my to a site with a bunch of advertisements (its usually http://searchremagnified.com/ but it changes a lot.) I went to my domain pannel, and it was no longer registered to me. So, I went to go register it, and it was already taken by someone else.

I never got an email saying that I needed to re-new http://pgrytdal.tk/ so I wanna know how the heck this happened? And if I can get it back?

I will look at those links you gave me, and see what I can do.

Thank you for your help! (I'll keep this thread open until I'm successfully finished. I just hope I can get my old domain back.)

Is there anything different that needs to be done if i am moving from WordPress MU to WordPress 3 MultiSite? I just want to move some MU sites to another Server running WP3 Muliti site for staging so i can then move to a WP3 Multi for production live. So I dont need to export the whole database just the wp_# that relates to each site. I moved them and did a find replace for wp_oldID to wp_newID and then imported the tables into the MultiSite DB. The only issue i currently have is lots of images are still pointing to the orignal instead of the new stage-www.site.com that it should now be. It seems the majority point to the new but there are many that do not. Any Ideas?
