Before you say anything, I've searched in Google and have yet to find the answer I'm looking for.
Let me start by saying I'm a fairly broke college student. I want to switch from Blogger to WordPress, that's fairly self-explanatory. I already paid for a domain through Blogger but am not sure what I need to do first to switch to WordPress. Is it more expensive to go through WordPress? I paid $10/year for mine over at Blogger. Is it a lot of hefty work?
Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Do you want to switch to WordPress.com or WordPress.org? If you want to switch to WordPress.org, you'll have to pay for hosting, which will probably cost more than $10/year.
I switched my blog from Blogger to WordPress.org a couple years ago. I remember it was pretty simple. There was a way to export the data from Blogger to a file and then import it to WordPress. Try Googling around for "Blogger export data" and "WordPress import data."
