   As per the title, really. Go to a comment in the dashboard, click on reply, then double click on an individual word within the original comment to which you’re replying - it opens the edit box for the comment I’m replying to & it closes the reply box I had open & I totally lose the comment I’d just spent 15 minutes writing.

   I turned off plugins, and tried all sorts - turns out it's a "feature"!

   A final secret shortcut is double-click. Just click twice on a comment in the Comments view to open up the editor.

   That's one secret I'd like to hide again! Short of turning off javascript, how can this be fixed?

   This is one of the dumbest "features" I've ever encountered in WP. I've wiped out countless comments I've been laboring over for 10-15 mins. or more, then having to go back & duplicate what I've just spent so much time & energy writing.

   Pls. someone tell me how to request officially that this feature be eliminated or at least tweaked so that users like us don't lose our comments.

   This bug is still there, 7 months later.
   Any ideas?
