As a relative newcomer, I'd like to install WP on my Ubuntu 10.10 system, but I figure I might as well play with the absolute latest RC2 + nightly updates (or whatever is the proper terminology). What's the proper way to do that? As I read it, I can just:
* install the current RC2 zip file, then
* add the bleeding nightly plugin on top of that
Will that do it? Thanks.

Or install current WordPress and then use that plugin.
I suspected that would work as well. I just assumed that if I start with the RC2, then jumping up to the nightly build would be a shorter distance to travel that first time and I like to keep my updates as small as possible. But, as you say, theoretically, both approaches should work equally well to get me to the same destination.
