How to sort posts by date and by category ?

    Hello there !

    I just installed your amazing plugin. Thanks for your work.

    I’m encountering an issue when I display posts by category :-/
    I’ve chosen to show 5 related posts by category.
    But, posts are sorted by date (newer -> older) and it’s always the same sequence regardless of the page where we are.
    Example: I got 18 posts in the category A.
    On the newer post (n°18), related posts are the 17 16 15 14 and 13.
    BUT on the oldest post (n°1), related posts are the 18 17 16 15 and 14.

    How can I do to display another order for related post ?
    Example: on the post n°6, display 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 /
    on the post n°10, display 9, 8, 7, 6, 5.
    Etc.

    It’s a great plugin but i have the problem as JeRetiens. I’m very curious how to solve this.

    Hi, I just added 2 more options:

    • Order By Option
    • Order

    I hope these new features help you solve the problem of system you want, download the new version.

    Thanks for your fast intervention !

    I’ve chosen “random” order that works fine 🙂
    The others “order by” display unfortunately the same sequence =/

    I have another little request ^^ May I ? :p

    My website is in french, so I have some “strange” caracters in the titles, like ^ or accents, etc.
    When your plugin shows the title with one ^ like ê, the letter is replaced by �..
    If it isn’t too difficult, could you fix that ?
