How to show latest posts from more than one blog

    I have three different blogs right now. I was thinking of creating a page that would show the latest post from each of the three blogs. Would anyone know if this is possible?

    If it is, then how could it be done?

    I forgot to mention, I’m experimenting with WP 1.5.

    You can use the RSS feeds, I don’t actually know HOW to do this, it’s probably in the admin area.

    So, you probably have a page which has the latest 3 posts from each blog on the main page – the rss feed will retrieve the excerpt (you know that box above the main writing box?) and it will take the extract from that. Then it will display it with a link which if they click will lead them to full article.

    I THINK this is how it works.

    Hmm. Sounds like an idea.

    Now, I wonder how I can get at those RSS feeds…

    If anyone else has any other idea on how to do this, do post! 🙂

    I do something similar for all the blogs at our site. I run a copy of Planet and pull all the RSS feeds. If all the blogs are in the same database it would probably be a lot easier to just pull the messages out of there, but I haven’t done anything with that yet.

    Yup. All my blogs use one database. I’ll see if I can do the same thing for mine. 🙂
