How to show a warning message when user tries to save a post witout title?

    When a user saves a post without a title, all the content is lost. Is there a way to force user to put in a title? At the very least, give them a warning message when they hit “Save” or “Publish”?

    No – that shouldn’t happen. A really good theme should be intelligent to this and insert a default title (preferably with an option to turn this feature off). Bit no theme should ever “lose” the post content just because the post title is missing.

    At the least that’s what happens with the theme we are using. No default title is inserted
    We are just looking for a solution for this problem.

    Try another theme to confirm that it’s a theme issue.
