How to share the wp-content (look and feel, plugins) between two databases (1 post)

    Hi,

We currently run a wordpress site which is geared towards european audiences. (We use WPML to offer localized content for 5 EU countries)

we have different domains for the EU localised content. E.g. users will go to sitename.fr to see the French localized content in French.

We are now faced with incorporating Middle-east content into the site; with content localized in Arabic for different ME countries.
    E.g we'd like, sitename.eg for Egyptian content.

I'd like to share the same look and feel, custom functionality and plugins between the EU and ME sites.
However, i'd like the sites to use a different DB so that ME content does not show up in the WP-admin back end for EU sites.

Basically, i'd like to have two sites, which share the same wp-content, but use different DBs for the actual content.

    Does this sound possible?
Does anyone have any better suggestions?

    Thanks
    Andrew
