How to set up a private blog, with private comments? (3 posts)

    Hi --

I'm setting up a blog for a book I'm working on, and would like to do two things:

    1) password-protect the entire blog, so that no one gets access to anything other than an initial page unless they have a login. (And I'd like to have unique logins for each user.)

    2) even for registered users, I'd like to hide any posted comments from everyone except me (I want to elicit feedback, but not have ongoing discussions between readers).

    Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Thanks for the response. So, I've got the password-protection of the entire blog in place, but "privatizing" the comments looks more elusive. The "semi-private comments" plugin sounds like it would do the trick, but doesn't seem to be working for me (I'm using WordPress 2.8).

Does anyone know of a way to hide comments from everyone except the specific commenter and the admin?

    Thanks!
