I recently upgraded to WP 2.6.2 with some great help. However, I'm not getting email notification of comments to my blog. How, or where, do I set that up? I've looked through the entire dashboard a couple of times (every page and option) and evidently it is eluding me.

OK, I found the email notification under Settings/Discussion/Discussion Settings and the box has been checked to email me whenever someone posts. However, it's not happening.
I have rechecked the box and saved the changes. I have verified my email address is correct on the General Settings page.
Still, no email notification of comments being made is coming through. Any ideas?

I actually have the same problem.
Has maybe anyone a solution to this?

Check in your user profile and see what you email is set in there

I have the same problem as eaglflyt. I don't get an email when someone leaves a comment.
The general/admin and user email are correct.
E-mail me whenever Anyone posts a comment: CHECKED
E-mail me whenever A comment is held for moderation: CHECKED
Before a comment appears An administrator must always approve the comment: UNCHECKED
Before a comment appears Comment author must have a previously approved comment: CHECKED
