How to set a category as a page? (3 posts)

    Hi there,
    I'l try to explain my question here:
    At our blog (http://blog.parfois.be) we have some category's. The design of the website doesn't leave much room for widgets and stuff, so now i'm looking for a way to integrate the most popular posts. My idea was to put a link at the top of the categories: popular, which links to a page with the most read posts.
    The problem is, I don't know how to set this up, probably there is an easy plugin for it? But I looked around the web and couldn't find it.

    Hope to find something here.

    Could create a Page then in a Page Template put the template tag to list your popular posts.

    For example if you were using WordPress Default Theme and http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/most-popular-posts/ you would create a Page Template with this code:

    <?php
    /*
    Template Name: PopularPostsPage
    */
    ?>

    <?php get_header(); ?>
    <div id="content" class="widecolumn">
    <h2>Poplular Posts:</h2>
    <ul>
    <?php most_popular(); ?>
    </ul>

    </div>

    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    Of course the plugin that you use to determine popular posts might be different.

    Then again if you are going to setup a Page for a category look at this techinque:
    How to easily display links to both Pages and Categories in the blog navigation header?
