how to seperate posts into seperate containers on home page

    HI I am trying to seperate my post on the home page of my site :

    http://www.rockmountafc.ie

    as you can see anything i do with the themes css(tp sunrise) effects the page as one whole post. I also want to strip out the date icon in the top left corner and the edit button , and also the post details date ect. Some styling changes only come into effect when click into a post and it comes up on its own page.
