How to send a pingback?

    I am aware that trackbacks are broken in a default 2.0 setup. I can see where to put the trackback URL when I am composing a post. How do I enable/use a pingback to an outside post that I wish to comment on? I don’t see any options related to pingbacks.

    Just include the url as a normal link.

    So if I include a URL as a link in the body of a post on my blog it will send a pingback to that blog? (as long as I have ping/trackbacks set in the prefs)

    That means not to put a URL in the body of a post and in the trackback box (so the other blog donesn’t get hit 2x)

    Correct?
