How do i search forum. Having problems now creating thumbnails in nextgen gallery and had hoped to find existing threads about this issue.

there's a search box on the home page for the forums at wordpress.org/support/
You could also manually go to http://www.wordpress.org/tags/nextgen

Does NOT take you to forums with the keywords youve searched.
