   Request: to be able to redirect a wordpress permalink such as http://www.globalcbi.com/blog/?p=27 or http://www.example.com/blog/original-page/ to another URL http://www.example.com/blog/NEW-page/

   How would I rewrite a rule in htaccess to redirect wordpress URL to a normal URL?

   e.g. if anyone comes to http://www.example.com/original-page/ it should get redirected to http://www.example.com/new-page.php

   Is this possible with the rewrite conditions and rules wordpress uses?
