If the plugin is hosted on wp-org: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ then you can submit a question directly to the author via their support forum.

If not, then you might have better luck asking them wherever you got it from?

  3. Not all form plugins store the submitted info in the database. Contact form 7 is very popular and a great plugin but doe not.

Both Gravity Forms and Jetpack do however.

thank you for your answers. christine, do gravity forms allow to retrieve the data if necessary from the database ? is there any wordpress keyword to output those stored data in database?

  5. Once installed, there's an area on the dashboard that allows you to see the answers. So there's no need to fiddle with the db. It's all set up for you.
