   HI...
   I created NEWS page and in [Settings] Reading i gave it as post page.i have categories like film,videos...that has to display only under NEWS page as submenus.how can i achive it?.....

   Hi..rschilt,
   This is what i m talking.

   Settings > Reading > Front page displays
   Your latest posts

   A static page
   Front page:Home
   Posts page:News

   OK...

   Are you wanting to display categories as sub links under a page menu?

   Or are you wanting to display category links conditionally only on the News page?

   under news i want my categories as submenu.

   I think I now understand what you are trying to do...

   And i'm not aware of an easy way to display categories as a sub links under a page link. You can easily create sub categories and have these as sub links of the parent category. Perhaps this is an alternative solution for you. Other than that I have run out of ideas.

   Ok Thanks rschilt,

   Currently i m getting my categories as submenu in every page link.But i want restrict the category links only for news.if i click on the NEWS The categories has to appear.

   You can easily create sub categories and have these as sub links of the parent category.

   But i want my NEWS between the menus like this.
   Services | News | Contact

   If i created the NEWS as category ,How can i Place it in Between the Page menu? Is This Possible?

    @my rocks,

    My apologies again - I think I'm still not 100% clear what you are trying to achieve and would loathe to to think that I am giving you incorrect advice because of this. Forums are limited at times because we need to describe a scenario in easy terms for others to understand - and sometimes the description and understanding fail to match.

    I have a suspicion we are getting pages and categories mixed up. Are you willing to provide a link to your site in order to try and resolve this?
